About Nicolas Mayfield

I am a dedicated Member Data Analyst at Brightwell, specialising in reporting and analysis. With great SQL knowledge and a strong background in Economics from Sheffield Hallam University, I bring a unique blend of skills to the table. In my current role, I report on member pension data which includes reporting on processes such as longevity swaps and valuation reviews. I also create member reports for the wider business providing requested information. My analytical abilities help identify areas for improvement and resolve data issues effectively to improve member experience and efficiency. Currently I am building member data reports for Brightwell's new client which includes constructing SQL reports to extract Scheme Specific data for TPR reporting and pulling through requested data items from the new clients actuary. I have solid pension knowledge from my previous experience as a Pension Administrator for Broadstone, which enhances my understanding of the industry. Currently, I am undertaking my CPE qualification to further expand my expertise. Additionally, I am learning Python and Databricks to improve Brightwells' reporting and validation processes which will drastically improve automation and therefore improving efficiency. Outside of work, I am working on my e-commerce side hustle, where I study market trends and consumer behaviour to maximise profitability.
