What I most enjoy is leading sophisticated parts and assemblies from the draft to the production, through elegant solutions for design and process. Main projects : 2009 - January 2012 : design of structural and bodywork CFRP parts for the LMP endurance car - preliminary sketches interfacing mechanical parts - FEM calculations, from topology to composite sizing optimization - final design, including drawings and laminate book - technical interface with suppliers - definition of validation criteria and control of physical testing (static - dynamic)+ recommendations to other specialities (mechanics, aerodynamics) according to process constraints when needed 2008 - 2009 : Ligier JS51, CN class two seater (JS49 successor). Head of project. Design, assembly, tuning and running of a wind tunnel model, analysis; bodywork detailing. 2005 - 2008 : Ligier JS49, CN class two seater. Design of suspension parts, overall shape and bodywork detailing; engine installation; development of new aero packages using full scale testing; front crash structure (carbon crashbox) design, calculations and FIA approval. 2004 - 2005 : Ligier JS47, Formula 3. Design and FE calculations for uprights and suspension parts; wind tunnel model tuning and relationships with testing facility; rear crash structure (carbon crashbox) calculations and FIA approval. 2001 : hydraulics and electronics development to implement both electric throttle and paddle-shift function on a manual sequential gearbox, in a single seater (training course, Automobiles Martini) Specialties: Composites, conceptual design and mechanics; FEM calculations using Hyperworks. Familiar with aerodynamics and wind tunnel testing and analysis.
