About Nicolas Rodriguez

I am a leader and manager in development, humanitarian action and peace building programs and projects. I graduated as a civil engineering, I hold a master’s degree in environment and sanitary engineering, and I´m certificated in program management and humanitarian action. I have strong experience strategizing, leading, implementing and monitoring regional and country programs and projects to provide services, meet needs and claim rights of vulnerable population affected by poverty, social inequality, conflicts and the impacts of climate change and disasters. I can establish synergies between different levels and functional areas to ensure consistency and an appropriate work environment. I have a strong background being part of donors’ engagement, fundraising process, implementation through consortiums and partners, and donors’ compliance. I have consistent, inclusive, and participatory leadership, with the ability to inspire, guide and increase self-sufficiency of teams to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency, program quality and accountability, staff safety and security, performance management, appropriation and application of core values and operational principles, and the creation and maintain of relationships of trust and collaboration.
