About Nicolas Saavedra

Living and working abroad taught me how to quickly adapt to different environments and challenging situations. My first role in project management got me hooked on organizing projects and seeing them through from start to finish, breaking big ideas into actionable plans. I spent a short but impactful time in the EU automotive industry helping my team manage the lifecycle of multiple ongoing projects. I then took to the financial services industry, working with implementation teams to deliver banking and digital solutions. Within the past year, I transitioned from these big-picture roles into a more laser-focused, detail-oriented position in product development as a business analyst. This purposeful shift has been crucial for my growth - learning how to dive deep into the specifics while never losing sight of the larger goals. In my current role, I’ve learned how important it is to balance both perspectives into an approach that helps me design solutions that are not only strategic but also practical and well-executed. One of my favorite projects has been leading the research and analysis of product integration with a third-party accounting tool via APIs. I dove into developer documentation, designed functional and user requirements, and tested core functionality using database scripts and sandbox environments. My background has equipped me with the skills and passion to navigate complex challenges effectively and support my teams in achieving their goals.
