About Nicolas Strafkos

I am a highly experienced Business IT professional with a well-rounded skill set through working within both the Public and Private sectors in varied and challenging roles. Skilled and experienced in data entry and management, the complete Microsoft suite, stakeholder relationship management, web application management and integration, record keeping and invoicing, and purchasing functions. I have experience in Digital Business Systems maintenance including development, testing, troubleshooting, helpdesk support management, and providing high-level business advice to business units across the organization with complex stakeholders. I currently am the lead IT contact for Department wide application systems such as SRLS (Safety Reporting and Learning System, Cohort (Occupational Health Record System) and TIHSP (Tasmanian Infant Hearing Screening Program). My work with these application systems includes identifying and implementing system improvements, trouble shooting, upgrade analysis and management and managing vendor work outputs. My conflict resolution, crisis management, technical IT skill set, and problem-solving skills are rounded off with my completing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) focused on the individual components that make a Business achieve above-average results, majoring in Management from the University of Tasmania. With a passion for learning and challenging myself to try new things and constantly improve, I am always willing to explore the unknown.
