About Nicolas Warinsko

Mr Nicolas Warinsko is the Managing Director of INTSKY, a consulting company in Air Traffic Management (ATM). Whilst currently involved in a wide range of activities outside ATM, through INTSKY, he remains available for punctual missions of expertise and advices based on more of 30 years of technical, operational and managerial experiences in ATM and aviation. From December 2014 to December 2022, has been involved in the SESAR Deployment Manager (SDM), as Deputy Managing Director and Director Technical and Operation (2014-2017), then as General Manager (2018-2022). As General Manager, Nicolas Warinsko was accountable to the Board of Directors for: o SDM representation, promotion and communication o SESAR deployment’s planning, coordination and synchronisation o Consulting and ensuring European stakeholders’ buy-in o Financial and administrative management of EU grants o SDA assets, property and contracts SDM's scope was: o €3 billion of investments, including €1.3 billion of EU grants o 350 projects in 34 States by 94 civil and military partners o €15M yearly running costs o A team of 52 FTE/14 Nationalities From July 2013 to November 2014, he was advisor to the Chief Operating Officers of the A4 Airlines (Air France, British Airways, EasyJet and Lufthansa) on SESAR deployment. In this capacity, he was also the bid manager for SESAR deployment Alliance's successful application to European Commission's call to select the SESAR Deployment Manager. In his previous position, he spent 5 years as senior policy advisor to the Directorate General for Mobility and Transport of the European Commission (DG MOVE) where he played a significant role in preparing for SESAR deployment. Before joining the European Commission in 2008, Nicolas Warinsko was with the French Air Navigation Service Provider (DSNA) where he managed the ATM division, being responsible for developing and maintaining French ATM systems for en route centres and airports. In the nineties, Nicolas Warinsko was an expert in Global Navigation Satellites Systems (GNSS), contributing on behalf of the DSNA and then the European Commission to the definition and the launch of the EGNOS and Galileo programmes. Nicolas Warinsko is 55. He is graduated as "Ingénieur de l'Aviation Civile" from the French Academy for Civil Aviation (ENAC). He hold a pilot licence with a multi-engine IFR rating totalising more than hours of flight.
