About Nicole Abel

Perhaps it was the colour changes, the chance to play with fire, or just learning "why", but my interest in chemistry started to develop in the first couple of terms of my undergraduate degree. I soon realized that I had a passion for chemistry after hosting various science outreach activities and events as well as being a TA in a chemistry lab setting- this is a field I want to explore and learn about more. Whilst I continue to learn and refine my laboratory skills and techniques, I am also developing my analytical skills and knowledge with the use of Excel, use of LaTex, and coding in Python. I am proficient in using both the Google Suite Applications and Microsoft Office Applications as well as various video conferencing platforms including Zoom, Google Meets, and MS Teams. Besides academics, I have an interest in photography, video editing, graphic design, music and reading. I hope to use photoshop more in my day-to-day life creating new projects and enhancing my photos.
