About Nicole Blackhawk

I have 11 years of professional experience working in environmental consulting. I have experience working on large scale oil and gas, transmission line, and transportation projects within the Central Valley. These types of projects were generally permitted by Incidental Take Permits, Biological Opinions, Environmental Impact Reports, Environmental Impact Statements, and Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreements. I've worked in both field and computer based positions supporting these projects and ensured environmental compliance with all avoidance and minimization measures. I have also been afforded the opportunity to mentor and train younger staff. This entailed training opportunities and supporting resume development to obtain agency approvals.I have project managed and scheduled staff on a multitude of environmental projects, overseen deliverables and budgets. I specialize in technical writing and have prepared a variety of environmental reports ranging from Pre-Construction Survey reports, Monthly Compliance Reports, Annual Reports, Final Construction Completion Reports, Lake and Streambed Alteration applications, and many others.
