About Nicole Boyd

Passionate 'Do-er'| Enthusiastic Puzzle Solver | Relationship Builder Tick-tock, tick-tock - I find immense joy in crafting lists and ticking off tasks, revelling in the satisfaction of accomplishment. But hey, life's not just about getting things done; it's about forging meaningful connections and having fun along the way. In my current role, I've discovered the perfect blend of my love for problem-solving and the thrill of collaboration within the industry. I approach my responsibilities as if I'm piecing together a Wasjig puzzle. Imagine this: my end goal is an ākonga (learner)-centric programme that leads to a NZQA qualification, and each puzzle piece (unit standard) I assemble, guided by co-design with industry, contributes to shaping a programme that empowers ākonga to thrive and setting them of a path of success. Embarking on a lifelong journey, I am dedicated to understanding the beautiful Te Aō Māori and developing proficiency in Te Reo Māori. This journey is a commitment to cultural understanding, contributing to the preservation and celebration of Māori culture, fostering connections, and promoting inclusivity and equity. Together, let's build connections, celebrate diversity, and champion inclusivity.
