As a seasoned legal executive, I have a compelling global corporate generalist background which has involved negotiating numerous commercial agreements, resolving employee matters (including union/severance/hiring/termination matters), handling data privacy/compliance matters (CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, LGPD, Australian Privacy Act, and GDPR), maintaining an IP portfolio and infringement matters, reviewing marketing materials, resolving contract disputes and litigation matters, researching shipping/logistics issues, preparing and completing documents necessary for insurance renewals/to maintain insurance coverages, reviewing financial/bank matters, performing corporate secretarial duties, analyzing and working with outside counsel on EPA/OSHA/MSHA compliance, and working directly with and solving day to day issues with internal and external stakeholders. My leadership experience encompasses managing a legal department, along with training contract administrators, procurement staff, junior attorneys, and paralegals on contract management and negotiations, including federal/state government and public sector contracts. My risk management experience comprises handling insurance coverages, claims, renewals, ISO certifications, gap assessments, monitoring, third party due diligence, updating privacy policies/DPA forms, security questionnaires, and other data privacy/information security matters. I have regularly worked with executive management on implementing new projects, policies, and processes and communicating said matters to the workforce.
