About Nicole E. Smith

Nicole E. Smith, RD, CDN, is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist that has spent most of her career providing medical nutrition therapy in the sub-acute/long-term care setting. When she is not doing that, she is fulfilling her passion of improving health and wellness in underrepresented communities. Currently, she provides nutrition workshops and supermarket tours for older adults in the Walking Wise Warriors program. She does individual counseling and nutrition wellness groups for recovering addicts at a treatment center and provides nutrition counseling and education to parents of children in the Early Head Start program. Her extensive experience is coupled with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics completed at CUNY Queens College.
