About Nicole Gonzalez

I am a psychotherapist, a supervisor, a mentor, and principal at Roots & Branches Therapy. In founding Roots and Branches Therapy, I hoped create an open, honest, nurturing workplace offering supervision and teamwork that providers a safe space for introspection and rich opportunities for growth and lifelong learning. I am passionate about the trauma-informed perspective, creating alliance and partnership, and empowering clients to better understand themselves, achieve their goals, and overcome the effects of trauma and mental disorders. I am certified in DBT and EMDRIA trained EMDR therapist. I also incorporate elements of Internal Family Systems Therapy, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Object Relations, Motivational Interviewing, and Critical Time Intervention Therapy.
