About Nicole King

Amazon Work Experience Story: My time at Amazon has been some of the best in my entire career life cycle. I've transformed and learned my most valuable industry knowledge during my time here. During my four years at Amazon, I have trained in both inbound and outbound departments, docks, and have experience as a learning ambassador/trainer. As a learning ambassador, I was really able to showcase my skills in communication, managing teams of between 5-10 people without authority, being an influence on new Amazonians, and managing training projects. I was able to create stable lines of communication with management and team members, create an invigorating training session for both new hires and cross-training employees, and ensure all employees were getting everything they could through thorough coaching techniques and problem solving thought processes. What I have gained through my other employment: I have experience as a scheduler for non-emergency medical transportation, and that gave me insights into active listening and data entry skills. I learned how to coordinate schedules for people, problem solve imperative appointment issues, and manage time, both my own and others. In my customer service roles, I gained valuable experience working with others and putting the customer first. I learned how to eloquently aide people and get them to return repeatedly. My writing skills have gifted with amazing creativity and I believe that is invaluable to any job position. I'm able to use creativity to problem solve, build myself up, and build the people around me up in positive manners.
