About Nicole Lesch

I am a professional with 15 years of experience, looking to make my next career move into programme and project management, operations management, student career advisory within education, or in the field of theological studies. Building on my diploma in Financial Management from False Bay College, I completed my Project Management course from the University of Cape Town, as well as my Bachelor of Theology degree through the University of South Africa. Currently, I am a MPhil candidate in Inclusive Innovation at UCTs Graduate School of Business. I worked in the position of Administrative Officer at the UCT Centre for Higher Education Development (CHED) Dean’s Office. The role entailed research publication count management, academic support, event management including social responsiveness within the faculty and in local communities, website content management, HR performance system administration and servicing (minute & report writing, governance, task and seminar administration) of Faculty-wide Committees such as the Research, Transformation and Communication and Marketing Committees, as well as the UCT Senate Language Policy Committee. I acted as Project Manager of the UCT Accents Film and ensured its completion and implementation: & feature=youtu.be. Previously, I was a Programme Administrator at UCT’s Department of Medicine. My role entailed administration for the 6th years, 3rd year Adult Health, 3rd year Intercalated BSc Degree, MBChB undergraduate courses such as orientation co-ordination, creating clinical rotation and tutorial rosters, marks processing, examination process management and team leadership. I additionally did administration for the UCT Fellowship of the College of Physicians of South Africa: FCP(SA) with examinations, basic finance and budgetary. During this period, I carried out additional administration tasks for the overall undergraduate MBChB programme and the managing online resources for postgraduate students on a part-time basis.
