About Nicole Marko

Self-motivated, driven,Type A personality that works best in a team-supported environment. I am also a wife and mother of two young children. My background is primarily parks and recreation based with increasing management, budget and project coordination responsibilities over 15 years as well as capital improvement and business development with multiple stakeholders. Prior to my Parks & Recreation experience, I have experience as an analyst evaluating and implementing service plans and opportunities for Fortune 500 and blue chip companies executives and their direct reports (enterprise architecture and infrastructure). I work best in high-volume, fast-paced environments with an ability to prioritize, self-manage and manage time effectively. I work best in work environments where teams contribute to projects, but where work can be done remotely with micro agility. To provide better work-life balance for our family, I elected to leave my senior level parks and recreation position which required a typical 50 hour work week, while always on call, to spend more time with our children. With our youngest child entering preschool in the fall, seeking a part-time to more full-time position that is 100% telework while she is in school. All the while, and most importantly, keeping dynamic skill sets and continuing to develop them across different industries.
