About Nicole Markowski

Problem solving and building relationships are at the core of who I am. Having an educational foundation in engineering, I started my career in consulting and IT. Through continued career growth, I then had the opportunity to set up, re-organize, and manage all aspects of the M&A lifecycle. This change led me to pursue and complete my Master's degree in Business Administration. Through these career and educational experiences, I have had the opportunity to build many skill sets in all facets of M&A. Continuous improvement, curiosity, and organization are the name of the game in my current role. I am fiercely focused on making sure the organizations, both leaders and team members, have the best experience possible when joining the organization. I clear obstacles for my team and build relationships with everyone to become a trusted adviser through every step of the integration. In my roles I have had the opportunity to holistically look and improve M&A processes, help coach team members who may be new to the M&A space, build a more repeatable process and work with leadership to turn our strategic plan into action. I enjoy contributing to the strategy of the corporate development team in my role and my ability to adapt my working style to better collaborate with different leaders across the firm for an optimal outcome. Outside of work I love spending time at the Elmbrook Humane Society walking and providing enrichment to the dogs at the shelter. I enjoy mentoring young women who are just about to enter the professional world. I love exploring Milwaukee micro-breweries and traveling to find great beer. Eating and cooking good food is another passion that has only grown! I enjoy meeting new people, networking to gain new perspective.
