About Nicole McAdams

I am a graduate from the University of Rhode Island with a bachelor's degree in Marine Biology. I am a certified advanced SCUBA diver, rescue diver, and scientific diver. I spent time volunteering at Mystic aquarium with their sea lions and as a docent. I also studied abroad in Bermuda where I conducted my own research project, and spent a year as an aquarist at Biomes, an aquarium and education center, where I primarily focused on marine life husbandry but also taught in-class programs. Outside of marine science, I have years of retail experience, as well as managerial experience. I was the site manager for Gordon Research Conferences, and was a supervising lifeguard for the D.E.M for multiple years. I am very comfortable working with a team or on my own, and I am accustomed to handling stressful or complicated situations.
