About Nicole McLaughlin

I have five years in customer service. Knowing how to communicate with customers is always a challenge, but everyone should know how to approach to make sure each and everyone is satisfied. I have volunteered and gone to school for Veterinary. I have knowledge in that industry, how to take care and manage animals and the clinic. I even worked in the grooming department with dogs. I understand that every customer has there wants and needs with their animals and it is important to me to make sure that they get exactly what they asked for and and that their animal leaves happy. I have received a leadership award and was a part of the National Technical Honor Society from the JEL Career Center I attended for Veterinary, along with a certificate for one-year experience in Veterinary Assisting. I have attended IUPUI for Biology since August of 2018, and will have graduated in August of 2022. Throughout my years at IUPUI, I has studied a variety of different biological subjects: cell, molecular, developmental, microbiology, immunology, and genetics. Along with those subjects, I partnered them with their corresponding laboratory class. This is because my main goal is to get into research to help aid in bettering our understanding of things and progressing the world in a positive direction. Throughout my laboratory learning, I was exposed to DNA sequencing, qPCR, PCR, ELISA, DEAE cellulose chromatography, and Western blotting. I enjoy being in a laboratory setting, performing experiments that are very hands on and tedious.
