About Nicole Munson
I am the Operations and Programs Coordinator at American Friends of Combatants for Peace. I hold an M.Phil in Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation from Trinity College Dublin, where my research focused on the perceptions of change in masculinities amongst religious ex-paramilitaries. Specifically, I examined how militarized masculinities can morph and entwine with peaceful Christian lifestyles. Additionally, I developed practical solutions for religious and community leaders to build peaceful masculinities.Before my current role, I gained valuable experience as a Research Intern at the Turnaround Project and as a People Ops team member at Community Change. Furthermore, I served as a co-chair of the Advocacy and Communications board for the Human Rights First Emerging Leaders and continue volunteering with the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom.
