About Nicole Numkena

I have experience teaching preschool through 3rd grade at a private school (Challenger) and learned to be flexible, prepared, confident and calm through many challenges. I’m currently teaching at the Youth Enrichment Foundation(for 3 years) with high school for 2 years and this year 3rd-6th graders with the occasional helping out in younger grades music. I have been teaching piano for 10 years and am still finding new ways to keep it individualized and fun! I love finding out what each student needs and goals are, so I can direct them most effectively. I have 2 years experience in residential treatment centers for adolescents with behavioral and mental problems. I love helping people find a healthier and happier life through learning skills. I also have barista experience and love expanding my knowledge in the coffee Industry. Coffee business is people oriented, which is a perfect match for my interests and skill sets. My future job will provide room for growth, stability, encouragement and communication and provide a safe environment with coworkers that will feel like a second home.
