You would think that moving boxes from one place to another would be easy, right? I thought the same thing until I found myself engulfed in the world of logistics. In the first few minutes of my first day, I was greeted by dirt, sweat, and a strange smell of microwaved dinner. However, it's so much more than that. I’ve been able to connect with the most diverse backgrounds of people in this profession, leading me to one of my favorite words: “Why?” I have never stopped posing this question throughout my career. My persistence has led to promotions, financial achievement, and a sense of ownership in my work. I've uncovered more of my professional self and flourished in people management. My curiosity doesn’t just stop at logistics; it has ignited a passion for law as I pursue my studies to become a paralegal. I believe that understanding the legal framework is crucial in optimizing operations and ensuring compliance within the logistics industry. At the end of the day, we are all just people working with people. I am just a person behind the screen, but the movements I make are organic and with care. When you find out why you're doing what you’re doing, moving that box seems a little more fun now.
