About Nicole Proano

With over eight years of experience in policy analysis and multimedia production, I am a versatile and adaptable professional who can contribute to various projects and initiatives in the public and private sectors. I have a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Science from Concordia University, where I received academic awards and scholarships for my outstanding performance. Currently, I work as an Advisor with Public Services and Procurement Canada, supporting activities related to the enterprise-wide transformation of HR and pay across the Government of Canada. I conduct research, analysis, and synthesis of data and information, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. I maintain a passion for journalism and storytelling that was sparked during my years in the news media industry, where I used my audio editing and interviewing skills to showcase the achievements and challenges of diverse communities and organizations.
