About Nicole Ring

As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) at HOPE Counseling Center, I provide quality mental health care to diverse clients, including individuals, couples, families, and children. I have a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Phillips Graduate Institute’s MFT Program of Campbellsville University, where I gained a solid foundation in biopsychosocial assessments, intake, treatment planning, and documentation. I have over a year of experience working as an AMFT at County of Ventura, where I managed a caseload of 20 clients in the ERSES division, working within the Las Virgenes Unified School District. I worked with adolescents and teens on various issues, such as trauma, autism, depression, and anxiety, and with children 5 years and younger on neglect, socialization, safety, and developmental milestones. I also have 9 months of experience working as an AMFT at California Family Counseling Center, where I provided weekly individual therapy to outpatient clients, and supported them in addressing issues such as OCD, relationship dysfunction, LGBTQ+ issues, and attachment issues. I have multiple certifications in crisis prevention intervention and CPR, and I am skilled in crisis management and documentation. I am passionate about helping my clients achieve their goals and improve their well-being.
