About Nicole Schultz

This part is always so boring. But I am amazing, so read on. I have 20+ years of nursing in 4 areas. Tele floor for four years (plastics, ID, Neuro-surg, dialysis) followed by 10mos as a traveler that trained new hires on a tele/renal/dm floor at Grant Medical Center. I then worked in Grant Medical Center's ED for 12 years. I did all the Level 1 trauma things and loved every minute of it until I didn't. Over the last 6 years, I have been at a Cath/IR/EP/Stress lab. And work for Trinity Health as a contingent First Choice ED RN to maintain my ED credentials & experiences & I am bored again. What I have learned about myself is that I LOVE patient care. All patients in every situation. I love the psychosocial challenges as much as I love the medical mysteries I face with each and every case. I love the interactions with families, patients, and doctors. I love being a nurse & am ready for new places and experiences. My everyday goal is to start with a smile and then get every challenging person in my path to also smile. At the end of the day, we both move on a little healthier than the day before.
