I am looking for a career where I can utilize the skills that I learned throughout the years. My focus is on making sure that I do the job well. I am dependable, reliable, and a hard worker. I do learn quickly and adapt to change well. During my time in the hotel industry, I was able to learn to think quickly on my feet, provide excellent customer service, and work as a team player. I adapted to all areas and shifts within the hotel. I also learned how to lead, how to read a budget, and how to appreciate a team. I have been with Walmart as a People Lead (Human Resources Manager) for the past 2 years. While I was in this role, I increased associate engagement and participation to 50%. I helped decreased the turnover rate by an overall 20% by encouraging and challenging the management staff with monthly associate engagement days. I also meet my schedule targets each week along with computer training goals each quarter. With the interview training session I have led for the team leads, we have created a culture of diversity and inclusion. We also have the highest customer satisfaction score in the market most weeks. I have also led training sessions for associates on internal promotions to team leads and above as well as for the sponsor program that establishes succession planning.
