Nicole’s editorial feature film debut Ellie & Abbie ( & Ellie’s Dead Aunt) had its world premiere at the 2020 Sydney Mardi Gras Film Festival and won the MGFF20 Audience Award for Best Narrative Film. Ellie & Abbie then went on to win the AACTA Award for Best Indie Film (2021). Nicole has worked for several seasons on the DreamWorks animated series Gabby’s Dollhouse as Animatic Editor. Gabby's Dollhouse is currently screening on Netflix and a new season often debuts on the Netflix Weekly Top Ten list. Her latest work is on the TikTok musical Girl Crush. Girl Crush is a 15 episode series, funded by Screen Australia and premiering during Sydney Mardi Gras Film Festival. It will then have an exclusive release on TikTok at the end of February 2024. Also coming in 2024, is feature film Andamooka. Nicole has had commercial experience as part of Based Film Productions editing a campaign for R U OK ‘Are they Triple OK’ which aims to increase levels of mental health support for emergency workers.
