About Nicole Wente

Graducated in 2009 with my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Florida, where I also spent much of my time working with children teaching dance, gymnastics and sports skills classes trying to help instill a love of physical activity. I then moved to Philadelphia where I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Temple University in 2013. Following graduation I moved to Chicago, IL where I worked for 3 years in an outpatient orthopedic clinic and in 2016 completed my orthopedic residency receiving my Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) distinction. I love working with the active population and athletes across all sports helping to prevent injury and improve safe return to play after injury. I have specialized in ACL rehabilitation and working with endurance athletes, soccer players, volleyball players, dancers and gymnasts. I have also completed my level 2 dry needling certification, am certified in Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Rehabilitation, trained in the use of the Red Cord system for neuromuscular activation and love to continue to advance my skills through continuing education.
