I have a masters degree in mental health counseling, am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and a licensed addictions counselor.(LAC) in two different states being Colorado and South Carolina. I provide clinical supervision (CS) for those seeking certification in SC through SCAADAC. My focus has been alcohol and drug abuse issues and being able to support/educate family members struggling with a loved one and their addiction. I have worked directly with clients and their families in the substance abuse field for over 12 years in a variety of settings like detox, inpatient, residential treatment for adults and adolescents and outpatient medication assisted treatment programs. My passion is working with those struggling with their addiction and helping families with intervention services. It’s important for loved ones to be educated and supported with how to help in these situations, when it seems like the rest of the world just doesn’t get it.
