About Nicolena Weaver

Ever since I was a little girl my family has whispered the word engineer to me. Because of this, I obviously fought the idea tooth and nail, determined to create my own path. Well as it turns out, they were right; I eventually found my passions leading me towards Biomedical Engineering. I am intrigued by the expansive knowledge, especially within the interest of bettering the lives of those around us. I find fulfilment in work and learning. I was hired at my first job the week I turned fifteen at a seafood restaurant close enough to walk to so I wouldn’t have to rely on someone else to get me to work. Since then I have worked consistently in restaurants trying to learn every position possible. I have worked every position from hostess, to line cook, to manager. I learned different lessons in every position but found managing the most rewarding because of my direct impact on my team. I am currently looking for opportunities to continue to learn and grow within my field, especially with a socially conscious company. Please feel free to reach out at any time!
