About Nicoleta Axenti

I come from a multilingual family and have always nurtured a strong passion for languages and for engaging with people across all ages and professional backgrounds. This passion, combined with a natural curiosity for learning and discovery, led me to pursue a career in the agro-industrial sector. Following a degree in languages and a master’s in marketing and internationalization, I have spent the past seven years working at Metalmont, where I collaborate daily with engineers, designers, technicians, and agricultural professionals. Over the years, I have developed a deep interest in key global issues such as food security, the role of innovation in achieving sustainability, and the importance of fostering interconnectedness to enable meaningful and effective cooperation for the benefit of both people and the planet. My role involves actively listening to the needs and challenges of industry stakeholders — including mill and feed plant owners, technical directors of oil extraction facilities, grain traders, and farmers across Africa and Asia. Through their collaboration with Metalmont, I have gained valuable insights into the real-world complexities of the agro-industrial value chain. A core aspect of my work is to raise awareness on issues such as food insecurity in developing regions and to effectively communicate the bespoke solutions Metalmont designs to meet the needs of operators worldwide, from the simplest installations to the most advanced systems. I have been invited as a speaker at various international events, including the “Idea Exchange” hosted by the Grain Elevator and Processing Society (USA), the IAOM MEA Feed Milling Forum 2025 (UAE), and “Build My Feed Mill” by Victam Asia (Bangkok, Thailand).
