About Nicoleta Dinescu
I am a Cambridge DELTA qualified Senior English teacher, Cambridge CELTA tutor, mentor and course designer at Shakespeare School. As the Director of Studies, I provide information and guide the teachers in our language centre on how to continue their professional development in order to meet the challenges of their work and achieve their goals as well as those of our language centre. I organize in-house training sessions and one-to-one mentoring sessions for newly qualified teachers. Being an experienced teacher and teacher trainer I monitor teachers' performance through classroom observation and offer them support, encouragement and constructive feedback. As an English language teacher, I have a creative style of teaching that makes learning both meaningful and fun. I have delivered numerous workshops in state schools addressed to teachers and students on how to prepare for international exams, as part of the Shakespeare School campaign 'English, your way to success'. I was a plenary speaker at 2012 RATE (Romanian Association of Teachers of English) conference and other professional meetings and seminars.
