Greetings! I am a Medical Laboratory Technologist with multinational certifications in the field and two relevant clinical laboratory experiences in different countries—the Philippines and Canada. My profound understanding of the foundations of medical laboratory science, combined with my experience in both countries, has equipped me with the resilience necessary to thrive in the ever-changing technological landscape of the profession. Often working behind the scenes in medical decision-making, laboratory technologists or scientists communicate directly with care providers to ensure the best outcomes for the public’s health. My education and experience as a Personal Support Worker also provided valuable insights into the physical aspects of patient care, complementing my work as a laboratory technologist, where I conduct investigations using only specimens and patient history.
