I am a researcher at the Social Spaces research group. I mainly focus on participatory design in healthcare context. This is closely linked to my phd research which focusses on researching participatory design methods to design together with persons with dementia. I've worked in several educational & research institutes and worked on various research and design projects on a regional and European level together with partners from industry as well as the cultural sector. Specialisms: I am mostly interested in design together with special needs groups such as persons with dementia or children with autism. Previously, I've also done some research work on the social aspects of media, online community building & citizen journalism.
