About Nigel Ashfield

I am MD of TIME, one of the most trusted providers of income & estate planning solutions in the UK. It was created when I took the property & tax efficient investment business out of Close Brothers Group PLC and partnered with Alpha Real Capital to become its intermediary facing arm in 2011. TIME is London based and has over £2bn under management and is part of a group with £5bn from defined benefit pension funds, college endowments, insurance companies, family office and private clients. TIME has a growing team of over 125 exceptional employees. The two main areas of business are as follows: Three Business Relief (BR) services, which mitigate inheritance tax, two focussed on capital preservation for private & corporate investors (AUM of c£1.5bn), and our award winning AIM ISA. We have a suite of five OEICs with over £500m of assets Prior to setting up TIME I worked at Close Brothers for 10 years. I qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC in in their London SME division after studying law. I am also a professional photographer and have shot over 250 weddings around the world.
