As a fractional Finance Director – offering the strategic insight of a full-time FD, without the full-time cost – I help SMEs improve their financial performance. My goal is simple: to help business leaders make smarter decisions, reduce costs and grow with confidence. Clients describe me as pragmatic, commercially minded and easy to work with. I bring clarity to financials, turn numbers into action and support teams in delivering results that matter. My approach is hands-on, forward-looking and always tailored to the business I’m supporting. I typically work with agile, ambitious SMEs – especially in people-focused sectors like travel, tourism leisure and hospitality – who want trusted, senior financial input without corporate bureaucracy. I thrive in fast-moving environments where meaningful decisions can be made quickly. Over the past 30 years, I’ve held senior roles across both corporate and family-run businesses. As a CIMA-qualified accountant, I’ve led not just finance teams, but major cross-functional projects –everything from refurbishments to rapid call centre builds. I’ve also mentored teams across geographies, cultures and growth stages. I operate globally. Above all, I believe finance should fuel performance, not just record it. That means telling the story behind the numbers, aligning with strategic goals and helping people do what they do best.
