About Nigel Edwards

As founder of NME Law Limited, I focus on providing high quality corporate and commercial legal services for businesses both in the UK and overseas and for individual directors and shareholders. I have 35 years' experience of corporate and commercial transactions, most notably in the marketing and communications sector, and am proud to have represented some of the biggest and best-known names in the industry. I believe that a good corporate lawyer should also have a strong understanding of accounting and tax issues, and be able to work with other advisers to help structure transactions from the outset. My particular transactional specialisms are mergers and acquisitions, shareholder exits, private equity and fundraisings, MBOs and MBIs. I also advise in relation to partnerships and LLPs. I also advise on company law matters including corporate reorganisations, shareholders agreements, employee share schemes and general corporate advice to directors and stakeholders. By keeping my offices outside Central London I am proving that it is possible to provide a truly cost-effective alternative to large City practices without compromising on expertise or quality or service.
