I am passionate about providing innovative window shading solutions for people at work. Maximising the benefits of natural daylight and minimising the harm of solar glare and radiation, without compromising outward views. Helping to create places that are a pleasure to be in whilst also reducing our impact on our planet, through energy efficiency and sustainable materials. It's very rewarding to contribute positively to many projects, large and small, across the UK and beyond. Umbra Shading has manufactured blinds for buildings from London's iconic Gherkin tower to the control tower at Doha International Airport. My mission is to change the way that designers, builders and users of buildings think about window blinds. They are not only aesthetic, they are not just part of the fixtures and furnishings, they are an essential part of a building's environmental controls. By harnessing smart technology and wireless digital connectivity, there is so much more we can achieve. That's why Umbra's slogan is 'Brighter Shading'. Brighter thinking for a brighter future.
