About Nigel Joyce

27 years of working within the textile design business, as a designer, trend forecaster, creative director and studio manager have given me what I can safely state to be an A to Z and back again of experience. My creativity has always been my strongest muscle and I exercise it not only through textile design, for fashion and furnishings, but also through painting, a passion that has fed the design career and has now grown to become part of my professional reality, through portrait work and landscapes. I’m currently working on personal artworks and portrait commissions, I design surface patterns and panels for the world of Home Décor, which I sell as a freelancer and through the sales platform stonefree.design, I teach surface design, image manipulation and graphics at the Marangoni Institute in Milan and privately, and last but not least, I write and translate for the communications agency, Mekko, in Chiasso, Switzerland.
