Impact GIS provides a range of services based around a core of GIS, mapping, analysis and drone services. With almost two decades experience in development lead environmental and cultural heritage impact assessment, Impact GIS has extensive knowledge and experience of the Irish industry, having worked on projects from one off housing developments to major infrastructural projects as well as regional and national strategies and plans. Mapping and analysis for Appropriate Assessment (AA) forms a significant portion of Impact GIS's work. We have developed a robust methodology based around QGIS and FME for generation of maps and analysis spreadsheets to support environmental consultants in completing AA Screening Reports and Natura Impact Statements. Impact GIS has completed mapping and analysis for over AA reports. Impact GIS has also worked extensively for the public sector undertaking mapping and analysis for Strategic Environmental Assessment of Development Plans for over half of the administrative areas in Ireland as well as Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA) for several Development Plans. Geographic Information System (GIS) Services – Impact GIS has a decades experience using GIS for data acquisition, data analysis and visulisation. Services include: • Data creation / acquisition; • Data conversion / manipulation; • Data analysis & reporting; and • Visualizations, including the production of maps, figures and atlases. Drone / UAV Services – Impact GIS offers a range of Drone / UAV based services, has been granted Irish Aviation Authority Specific Operating Permission and is fully insured for commercial operations. Services include: • Aerial survey and inspection; • Digital Surface Model (DSM); • Orthophotography; • Aerial photography; and • Aerial videography. Photographic Services • Photogrammetry; and • 3D modelling.
