About Nigel Mason

As the Managing Consultant of the Advisory Services team, I work with top-level organisations across Australia to expand their Enterprise-wide adoption of Esri’s technology to achieve strategic business goals. I have spent more than 30 years providing consulting services and strategic solutions development in the public and commercial sector. My hands-on approach helps bridge the gap between an organisation’s challenges and objectives, and the many applications of GIS technology. I joined Esri Australia in 2014 after holding various strategic consulting roles in Asia, the UK and Europe. Since then, I have worked across many clients and sectors including natural resources, utilities and state government. I have been fortunate to follow my passion for geography, and get to work with equally passionate and skilled practitioners and consultants from across the globe. Every day is a learning experience as I work with the Advisory Services team to understand clients challenges, identify new ways for GIS to solve complex problems, focusing primarily on the organisational benefits of adapting GIS to meet their needs.
