About Nigel McPolin

As an Occupational Psychologist with over 25 years of international experience, I have had the privilege of working across 16 countries with a diverse range of clients, from individuals and small family businesses to large multinationals and public bodies. My expertise lies in leadership coaching and training, employee engagement, surveys, focus groups, and psychometric assessments, particularly in recruitment and leadership development. Throughout my career, I have been driven by a passion for helping organisations and their people unlock their full potential. I believe that the key to organisational success lies in understanding and developing the human element, and I am committed to providing tailored solutions that address the unique needs of each client. I have had the honour of delivering my services to some of the world’s leading multinationals, including Dell, American Power Conversions, McAfee, and Concentrix. My work with public sector organisations, such as the Post Office, Network Rail, NI Civil Service, and Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, has also been immensely rewarding, allowing me to contribute to the development and well-being of public services and their employees. My approach is both strategic and practical, combining robust research with real-world insights to create impactful solutions. Whether it’s enhancing leadership capability, driving employee engagement, or leveraging psychometrics to improve recruitment and development outcomes, I am dedicated to delivering measurable results that align with my clients’ goals. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the great outdoors, particularly hiking in the Mourne Mountains especially when accompanied by my daughters. I’m also an enthusiastic supporter of my daughters' Camogie matches. Staying active is important to me, and I make it a point to attend a local gym three times a week. In the evenings, I love unwinding with my family, often over a good boxset—House is currently a favourite, and I highly recommend it. Hugh Laurie’s performance is simply outstanding.
