About Nigel Roe

Highly experienced postgraduate musculoskeletal physiotherapist and MACP member. New Zealand origin physiotherapist with 35 years clinical experience, London based 19 years before relocating clinic to the West Midlands/Warwickshire in August 2018 Graduated 1990 from Otago School of Physiotherapy, Dunedin, NZ and then completed post graduate training in 1993 specialising in manipulative physiotherapy at Otago University in NZ. Involved heavily in Rugby for 10 years, initially at North Harbour, Auckland, NZ with 4 years spent working with North Harbour/All Blacks Physio Dave Abercrombie and 4 years with Fiji international side including RWC. Then full time in professional rugby from to 2004 as 1st team Physio and medical team leader at premiership rugby team Saracens in North London. Moved to own private clinic setting in 2004 and spent 13 years in own North London based private practice settings, initially at Triyoga and The Laboratory spa & Health Clubs in Muswell Hill & Mill Hill. A family relocation to Warwickshire in 2010 resulted in 7 years commuting back to London to base solely at the Laboratory Spa & Health Club in Muswell Hill. Growing family commitments led to the difficult decision to "close shop" in London in mid 2017 to re-locate closer to home. As of August 2018 Nigel Roe Physio was based within Virgin Active Solihull before moving to a home clinic setting near Warwick. Nigel specialises in complex post trauma orthopaedic rehab and previously failed orthopaedic rehab for both upper and lower limb in addition to extensive general surgical and non surgical spinal rehab experience. He also has extensive prehab and post op rehab expertise for hip, knee and ankle arthroplasty, with a special interest in return to sport for high function individuals.
