While studying in Venice I visited the local civil courthouse (the "Sezioni Civili - Tribunale di Venezia"), where I came across this quote and it resonated with me. This is the motto of the Italian judicial system, and while not always true in application, it is a purpose nonetheless which animates my practice of law.
