About Nihal Dolunay

A technologist in mind and a social scientist at heart. An engineer, researcher, and student by day — and a question‑asker and answer‑seeker for life. Two enduring values guide my steps across personal, academic, and professional landscapes: critical thinking — the effort to see beyond categories, limits, memories, perspectives, frames, histories, and different walks of life, which has inspired some of the most ingenious and beautiful creations of humankind — and care: care and consideration for all beings, for the community, for the company, for the school, for the team, for the teammate, for the neighbor, for the family, and for oneself, which I believe is the true source of life and meaning. Fueled by a deep ambition, I seek to unite these values by turning critical thinking into care through impactful research. On this journey as a young professional, I am cultivating the knowledge and skills that will support the dreams I envision for the future.
