I have over 6 years of experience in project management in businesses, including life insurance, technology, marketing, operations, sales, and financial services. I love to dig into customer problems and solve them with modern technology. I focus on key results, quickly adapt to new insights, and believe in the principle of "strong opinions, loosely held." I have worked as a Product Owner in mature products and bringing new products to the market. I have investigated market landscapes, done rigorous competitor analysis, and created and delivered roadmaps. In communicating, I speak both tech and executive, with a Master's in business and a Bachelor's of engineering in Computer Sciences, to deliver value via multiple skills. At both edWisor and ipipeline, I have had a chance to work with really smart engineers and architects. A central tenet of my PM style is to have clear, open communication, where my engineering teams have always shared inputs on the roadmap, asking questions to understand customer needs more deeply. This has led to creative product solutions often emerging from engineering (UI and API) discussions, and our customers have loved them. Having some graphic designing and testing (QA, UAT, Prod) experience myself, I have always loved working with UX teams - making sure that customers' Jobs To Be Done takes center stage in our discussions. With our research and development teams, I've helped craft research patterns and discussions that have helped shape product prioritization. Also, made sure that the user experience and interactions were always driven to solve real customer problems. I have worked with cross-functional teams and professionals for my products, leveraging their deep customer connections to create a sustainable inflow of market information. I have crafted relationships with key customers and partners, building trust in new products, and helping customers go from pilot to live - learning from stumbles and iteratively improving the product. This means I've talked to customers across the board - from our ideas forums and webinars to live presentations to the C-suite. I love being a project manager - it helps bring together my engineering background, a passion for design, and a love for business and strategy, all while solving real customer problems and helping my users achieve more in their day.
