About Niharika Vij

I am a fifth-year undergraduate student pursuing a degree in electrical engineering at the University of British Columbia. I am keen to integrate growing knowledge into new projects especially within the field of power distribution, electrical hardware and power electronics. Through my experience working at a construction management company, I developed a strong interest in electrical building codes and am now seeking electrical consulting opportunities across diverse sectors such as building systems, industrial plants, aviation, infrastructure, and marine engineering. I am currently specializing in power systems at UBC and am looking for 2025 EIT roles in this field. I also have programming experience in C and Python and I have experience working with CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD. My most recent VHDL project consisted of building a game replicating 'Baccarat' on a DE1-SoC board.
