About Nihat Celik

I am a scholar of Political Science. As a lecturer at San Diego State University, I have been teaching public administration and government courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels for more than five years. I have also developed and delivered online courses, enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes. My teaching and research interests span international politics and history, foreign policy analysis, comparative politics, conflict analysis and resolution, local governments, nonprofit organizations, Middle East history and politics, history of the Ottoman Empire, and modern Turkey. I have published several peer-reviewed articles and have several other scholarly works in progress. I hold a PhD in International Relations. My mission is to inspire and educate the next generation of global citizens and leaders, and to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and understanding of the complex and dynamic world we live in. I am passionate about exploring the political, social, and cultural dimensions of international and comparative issues, and sharing my insights and expertise with my students, colleagues, and the wider community.
