About Nik Gottfredson

I’m a Senior Android Software Engineer with advanced expertise in mobile analytics, feature flagging, and running A/B testing to optimize user experience. With over 4 years of experience in Android development and a focus on experimentation, I specialize in using tools like Amplitude, mParticle, and Split.io to gather critical insights, evaluate data, and implement effective features that drive data-driven decisions. My technical skill set spans Kotlin, Compose, XML, MVVM, Dagger Hilt, and more. I’m particularly passionate about developing Android apps that deliver an exceptional user experience while also driving key business outcomes, such as increased engagement and customer retention. In addition to my Android expertise, I’ve supported cross-functional teams as the go-to engineering point of contact for analytics tools and internal processes. This experience has honed my ability to bridge the gap between engineering, data, and product teams. I also have hands-on experience with iOS development (Swift) from previous projects, which gives me a unique perspective in cross-platform development.
