About Nik Rusak

I am a Senior SDET with over 10 years of experience in designing and scaling complex automated testing ecosystems. My focus is on building high-performance automation frameworks that don't just find bugs, but actively accelerate the SDLC. I specialize in AI-driven testing, Shift-Left architecture, and integrating Quality Gates into high-load CI/CD pipelines.Technical Core:-Automation: Designing end-to-end frameworks (Java, Python, JS/TS) from the ground up.-Architecture: Implementing Shift-Left, BDD/TDD, and Contract Testing in microservices environments.-Infrastructure: Deep integration with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and cloud environments.-Innovation: Leveraging AI/ML to optimize test suites and data-driven decision-making.Technical Highlights-AI-Driven Test Optimization: Spearheaded the development of an AI module for a test management system, reducing test failure analysis time by 80% and shortening the overall automation lifecycle by 20%.-Architecture/ Delivery Speed: Architected and implemented Shift-Left strategies for complex platforms (OpenID, Real Estate), enabling a transition from monthly releases to on-demand deployment (2-3 times per week).-Scaling Engineering Standards: Engineered an automated, AI-powered mentoring and onboarding system for engineers, which reduced training overhead by 50% while ensuring 100% compliance with technical standards.
