Award winning Broadcast TV Series Director & Producer, Social Media Content Creator with Marketing experience. In Broadcast TV, I specialise in a broad range of factual entertainment programmes, having produced & directed shows for all the major broadcasters and more - ITV1, ITV2, ITV4, BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, CHANNEL 4, CHANNEL 5, NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, MTV, MTV Base, FOX, SKY ONE & SKY SPORTS. Most recently I’ve been producing & directing hugely successful FISHING SHOWS for ITV - including THE GRAND FISHING ADVENTURE, MONSTER CARP, THE BIG FISH OFF & FISHING ALLSTARS. Other recently successful non fishing shows include for example, FLIRTY DANCING & COME DINE WITH ME (Channel 4), DANCING ON ICE (ITV). I also have a proven track record & great understanding of Social Media & Marketing and have been producing highly viewed original short & long form content for all the major social platforms for many years - FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, X, TIKTOK & YOUTUBE. I run various very successful pages & groups with very large followings (totalling 400K +). I also have very good understanding of social media & marketing analytics too. I’m very confident and highly competent in all aspects of TV programme making & social media content creation. I am incredibly adaptable, very organised and have an exceptional attention to detail. I can form great working teams (small & large) and run a very stable but fun ship. I am well known within the TV industry for my skills working with celebrities, presenters as well as 'Joe Public'- from very sensitive matters through to comedy elements. I’m incredibly experienced in the whole programme making process, from original concept through to TX - writing treatments, producing strong narratives, script writing (serious & humour), complex shoot planning, directing, over seeing the entire post production process, either editing producing along side an editor or editing myself (high level using PREMIERE PRO), then overseeing all elements of final post through to TX. I’m highly skilled at PSC and Multi-Camera Directing, also including drones / jibs / dollies / steadycam, and have also been shooting myself for over thirty years (eg, SONY FX9,6,3, SONY GOPROs, IPhone 15 Pro Max). I have vast experience filming in the UK and abroad, having filmed in more than 30 different countries all around the world in most extremes, from -25C in The Arctic Circle, to +35C humidity of The Amazon Basin, the +40C dry heat on The Plains of Africa, and also the dangerous Radioactive Exclusion Zone near to Chernobyl.
